It should be noted that Nikitskiy Botanical Garden is the leading institution in ornamental gardening. More than 28,000 species and hybrids have been planted here. The total area of Nikitskiy Botanical Garden is 11 square kilometers. The plants are assembled and had been carefully picked out in magnificent artistic groups. There is a wonderful collection of cactuses that is one of the largest collections of the plant family Cactaceae in the world. You can enjoy the seasonal luxuriantly blossoming of roses in the Rose Garden or the mighty chrysanthemum collection. Ball of Chrysanthemum is an incredibly bright annual holiday in Nikitskiy Botanical Garden and you can admire these flowers here. There are catalpa trees in season rained their pink and white blossoms upon the grass. An avenue of evergreen holly oaks is leading to the thickets of bluish-green bamboo trees.  There is the immense and impressive rock garden including hillsides, stony slopes and natural rock outcrops.
