This year Cheese and Wine Holiday will be the fourth. During the Fest the Fair of cheeses and wines will work at Market Square (The Rynok Square in Ukrainian), and all participants and city guests have a golden opportunity to taste the best cheeses made according to the ancient creamery traditions, and to sample fine Ukrainian wines, among them New World and Bolgrad wines. Even the symbol of the Fest – the cheese grasshopper – belongs to the ancient cheese-making traditions.
The organizers take care of the fest trademarks and unique distinctive features. One of them is hand-made fair within the Cheese and Wine Fest, numerous master-classes and workshops as well. Also, Cheese and Wine post-office services will be offered. One can post an exclusive wine-art postal card of Ukrainian talented artists Oleksandr and Ivanka Voytovych to all the corners of the world. Wine connoisseurs, are you here yet? You will be offered to sample more than forty wine kinds of wine. The experienced tasting participants will tell you about the details of assemblage, the nature of corks and choice of bottles, the choice of matching cheese sorts and first courses. For example, chocolate, spicy cooking, fat fish and tobacco smoke are considered the bitterest fine wine enemies. Another good Cheese and Wine Holiday tradition is baking a huge cheesecake according to the ancient recipes. All Fest guests are welcome to taste it.
