7th of April – World Health Day!

On the 7th of April we celebrate the World Health Day. So if you want to revise your usual way of life, this is the best date to do it!

If you’d like to improve your health, there is nothing difficult. There are a few rules, following which you will feel yourself much better without reference to your age or chronic deceases. Just make these rules your everyday practice!

1. Sleep enough. If your organism needs 7-9 hours of sleeping, let yourself have this rest every day. Yes, it’s serious. Your healthy sleep is one of the most important things to your health.

2. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Change your usual ration in favor of these products. It should consist of not less than 60% of vegetables and fruits every day. Try not to overeat, stop eating when you’re still a little hungry. Try to exclude cakes and chocolate, restrict sweets, alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee. Turn away from potato chips, crackers, carbonated beverages like cola, energetic drinks etc. Give preference to salads and porridges.

3. If you smoke, exert every effort to leave off. If you can’t, at least restrict your daily amount of cigarettes.

4. Be in motion as much as possible. If you have a sedentary job, every hour make pause for 5 minutes. Walk around the office, get a little exercises and let your body to have some rest. Sometimes take a walk or use your bicycle instead of going by car. Get in the habit of using stairs instead of elevator.

5. Go in for active kinds of sports. Will yourself into moving, it will help you to relieve stress after working day, have a rest and get a new energy. You’ll feel yourself younger and healthier thanks to that!

6. Always keep your posture, especially while walking and seating. In such a way you have a chance to avoid many troubles with your back and spine and keep your life healthier.

7. Keep your hygiene up. Regular shower and washing hands makes prophylaxis to avoid many deseases.

8. Keep emotional balance. Positive thinking and positive emotions contribute to your good health. Just learn to pay attention to beauty and kindness around and it will make your life and your health better!
