2.Velyurov Restaurant
This restaurant is the legislator of the culinary fashion of Chernigov, the meeting place of kind friends, warm companies, loved by many. Its creators were inspired by memories of an old-kind apartment, carefree childhood and delicious mother’s dinners. The restaurant “Velyurov” has a special spiritual atmosphere, which is supported by every, even the smallest, detail of the interior. The restaurant treats dishes of Ukrainian home cooking, but in the author’s interpretation. Such delicious rolls and sushi are not served in any other restaurant in Chernigov. Here you can find both the rolls in the classical version, and the variations on the theme. It contains the best and traditionally favorite dishes. Particular attention deserves the brazier-menu, dishes which were liked by the guests. The restaurant is located on the banks of the Desna river and here you can escape from the hustle without leaving the city limits.
