The sociologist asked 2500 Russian women what male professions are attractive for them. And the results were very unexpected.At about 14 per cent of women love men in uniforms. They love men who work as soldier, sailor, pilot, policeman or lifeguard. This professions are chosen by the women aged 40 to 50 years and those whose income is not very high. Russian women love men in uniform because they are strong and reliable and they are the real men. According to the survey, for the 11 percent of Russian women a real man works as a manager, supervisor or a businessman. Women are interested in this professions because they value the leadership, intelligence and the ability to support a family. In addition, some Russian women just like when a man wear suit and tie. Women like when a man is a confident and know what he wants. That’s why they like businessmen who can take good care of them.

10 percent of Russian woman like doctors or men working in health care. Male-doctors attract middle-aged women with hig income. Women like doctors because they are clever, faithful, tender, kind and could be good farthers and take good care of their partner. A lot of Russian woman like make doctors because they always neat and polite.
According to survey, 6 percent of women want their beloved to be an IT-specialist. Young Russian women prefer men of this profession because they are curious and clever, have a lot of interests and independent.
5 percent of women want their beloved to be a lecturer or a teacher, because they know how to deal with children, intelligent, caring and like to learn something new.
4 percent of Russian women love lawyers. They value that men of this profession are serious and adventurous, intelligent and confident.
The same number of women, 4 percent, prefer men whose profession is connected with trips and seeing new places, such as journalists, drivers and sailors. This professions are very romantic and adventurous, and only brave and strong men may choose it. And, according to Russian women who choose this make professions “it’s always a pleasure when a man comes back home after a work trip, small parting make the love stronger”.
3 percent of Russian women like engineers as well as architects and builders. Women think that men of these professions are strong, not afraid of difficulties and reliable.
Among the other attractive professions woman (10 percent) named athletes and dancers, cooks, advertisers, jewelers, musicians and DJs, artists and tattoo artists, as well as the other artistic professions that require creative thinking and good imagination. Women stressed that men of these professions are never boring and know how to make the everyday special.
Nevertheless, the most Russian women (28%)have said that while choosing a man his profession doesn’t play such an important role. Men are selected based on their masculinity, personality, intelligence and sense of humor. As they’ve said about their perfect man and his profession: “Man, first of all, must be a man”, “The main thing is that he loves me and I love him”, “I like men who are the real professionals, respectable, honest and kind”, “I don’t care where my man works, the most important if he is likes to come back to me after the working day”.

9 percent of women didn’t give an answer because they say it’s ridiculous to choose a man only according to his profession. “We don’t choose a man with a particular profession; he can change his working place but not the personality”.
