One of the famous international river rafters’ clubs, is river Chernaya (‘Black River’) at Crimea. Chernaya is one of the most interesting rivers for rafters in Ukraine. It flows at the steep and winding canyon called Chernorechye. Your extreme rafting down the river passes among high rocks up to tens of meters in height. Scenic thickets of juniper give the impression of unreal world where no man has gone before. Share this adventure with your beloved woman and you will remember this holiday for a long time!

Another place liked by rafters is Cheremosh, fast river that flows down from the highest Carpathian Mountains. Two its inflows, Bily Cheremosh (‘White Cheremosh’) and Chorny Cheremosh (‘Black Cheremosh’) are also very attractive for river rafters. These rivers are very turbulent, especially at the beginning of the summer when water comes down from the mountain tops and almost doesn’t have plain stretches. That’s why they are an ideal place for people who likes active rest and very extreme river rafting. Cheremosh flows among the highest mountains of Carpathian Massif so you can also conquer the tops of Goverla (highest Ukrainian mountain, 2061 m) and Pip Ivan (‘Priest Ivan’, 2021 m).

But if you are only a beginner in the river rafting, you may choose more plain Ukrainian river like Yuzhny Bug (‘Southern Bug’) which flows through the whole country and forms some rapids that are famous as loved by Ukrainian free warriors – Cossacks.
