This weekend was rich in cultural events for the South of Ukraine. Some cities celebrated their anniversaries; among them are Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kerch. Koktebel International Jazz Fest is staying on. One of the most colorful and prominent events, that took place (oh! I mean started) at this weekend, was Crimea Velvet Beer Festival-2013.
Crimea Velvet Beer Festival 2013 – its first stage – began from the city of Feodosiya, a resort city on the Black Sea coast. All the stages will take the next month; every weekend Crimean cities – among them are Sudak, Yalta and Simferopol – would host the guests of Velvet Beer Festival. This year’ event will be an amazing combination of taste and sound, so if you are a true beer-lover, beer-drinker or the casual beer fan, it’s a perfect chance to combine pleasure with utility. Velvet Beer Festival gives the tourists and guests an excellent opportunity to taste new brews and to discover something unusual in beers.
Festival tours which are scheduled in the Crimean cities have a huge program of events. Among tasting beers, it includes various competitions, animation playground, night beach shows, concerts, entertainments, bands, and cuisine. Mobile restaurants and café tents are responsible for series of tastings. It is noteworthy that day tickets are free of charge, as the Velvet Beer Festival is aimed to improve the culture of beverages consumption in the country as well as to promote the Crimea by attracting more foreign tourists there. So, you have a whole month to invite a charming Russian lady for visiting the Velvet Beer Festival-2013 in chosen city and to enjoy tasting your favorite drink. Welcome!
