National Cheeseburger Day

Hi all! Today is September 18 and today National Cheeseburger Day is celebrated on. National Cheeseburger Day? Oh, yeah!!!! Really, cheeseburger, one of the most favorite world’s foods, is worthy its own day! Do you enjoy making cheeseburgers at home with your homemade sauce smoked in? Or you prefer to try it in your city’s burger restaurants? Anyway, America is a place where you can find really the best ones.

ButterBurgers and Fatburgers, Smashburgers, Quad Stacker Burgers and In-N-Out Burgers… The kinds of cheeseburgers are numerous, and tastes are amazing. There are variations of cheeses topped such as mozzarella, Swiss cheese, Gruyère, Comté, blue cheese and many, many others. Unlike hamburger, a classical cheeseburger includes immense numbers of toppings and sauces’ variations, either regional or even religious.

We don’t know exactly who first had the idea to slap a piece of cheese on top of the burger patty in order to create the new kind of burger, and was it either through error or on purpose. Actually, the first cheeseburger is believed to be created between 1924 and 1926 by Lionel Sternberger in California. It was at his father’s sandwich shop. However, the cheeseburger’s popularity is so high that almost every US state claimed to be the homeland of this awesome burger. For example, Kaelin’s Restaurant in Kentucky is supposed to be an inventor of the cheeseburger in 1934.

Cheeseburger has its own day, its own history and even its own record. The world’s largest cheeseburger was made in 2011 and weighed 777 pounds. Should you like to try a piece?

So, how are you celebrating National Cheeseburger Day? Making cheeseburgers at home or eating your cheeseburger out? Or inviting a gorgeous Russian lady to share an amazing taste of your beloved burger with you?
