Breathtaking Skydiving – Taking Off!

If you’re gonna jump for love, bring a parachute instead of a Bungee-rope. Both will save you from falling off. Only difference is, one will keep you moving and the other will bring you back and forth from where you came from…your choice.

Adrenaline rush because of high risk activity. The fear of falling. Trying to edge your way into a milk-colored cloud. Stepping into the shadows. Have you ever experienced all these feelings yourself? If no, hmm… it’s the time to try parachute activities and skydiving!

More than 200 years ago, André-Jacques Garnerin experimented with the first parachute projects based on umbrella-looked devices. Garnerin carried out the first parachute descent with a silk parachute on 22 October 1797 at Parc Monceau, Paris. So today we celebrate 216th anniversary of recreating the first parachute descent from a balloon. Garnerin is also known as the inventor of the vented parachute, which improved the stability of the fall. This French balloonist was granted the title Official Aeronaut of France, but the name of Citoyenne Henri should also here be mentioned. She was a woman, and she is considered today as one of the pioneers of parachuting, Garnerin was accompanied by Citoyenne Henri while his descents. Jeanne Geneviève Labrosse, Elisa Garnerin, Sophie Blanchard – the ballooning women pioneers – were greatly inspired by Citoyenne Henri’s experience. Most of Russian ladies adore parachute jumping, so it may be unforgettable experience to try, for example, tandem skydiving with them.
