Annual International Knife Show “Steel Edge” will be started tomorrow, on November 9, and will last till November 10. This show has been considered for years as the main holiday in glorification of bladed weapon. Knives, swords, sabers, daggers, different medieval recreations as axes, sheats, rapier swords and bayonets – with all these words the true man’s heart is heaving. Throwing Knives, Pocket and Boot Knives, Tactical or Survival Knives, Hunting or Bowie ones – there are many types of them and the history of this kind of weapons counts decades and hundreds of years. The beauty of the cold masterpieces is thrilling to watch.

XI International Knife Show “Steel Edge” will take place at the International Convention Center “Ukrainian House”, 2, Khreshchatyk Str., Kiev, Ukraine, from 11:00 am till 18:00 pm. The event program is pretty large and includes workshops, different contests, performances and sparring matches. The City of Craftsmen will be opened with the beginning of the event program. World-famous Ukrainian and Russian knife makers, potters and blacksmiths will be available at their stands for questions to ask. They would be glad to do something for you to choose on your own. Because of the wide entertainment program, the Knife Show “Steel Edge” grows in popularity either in Ukraine and abroad. The event visitors can enjoy the Japanese martial art of fencing, sabre fights – one of the most spectacular fencing disciplines, shooting from compound and traditional bows. Whip masters’ show promises to be especially thrilling. Full contact fights will certainly draw your attention, and your lady would definitely like hairdresser and culinary shows. Besides that, you will have a chance to take part in different contests and to win a prize – so why not to try? You are going to have a fine time visiting to the “Steel Edge”!
