Visit your local church; appreciate all the good things which you have throughout your life and thank for all. Be thankful for every good thing in your everyday life – for a charming Russian lady you have met, for the truest friends, for love around you. Be thankful for the sun is shining, the sky is clear, and you live, feel and have your health. Be thankful for meal on your table, for a delicious cup of coffee and for all wonders of the world. Celebrate Thanksgiving Day feeling grateful.

The story of this holiday is known to the whole world. The Thanksgiving tradition rooted back to 1621 when the Founding Fathers (nowadays, their surnames are well-known either in America or the whole world) celebrated their good harvest in Plymouth, Massachusetts. These pilgrims had brought life to the tradition of Thanksgiving, when Native Americans and Pilgrims shared the same roof; the same table and the same meal, among them were local vegetables, fish and grains. Today we share the same table and meal too, but our menu is diversified by plenty of dishes – we eat turkey, duck, bean and potato casserole, pumpkin or apple pies on family recipes. All needful for being grateful for all we have, all needful for enjoying everyday life.

There are always so many things to do today – cooking, watching Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, enjoying giant balloons over Broadway, rooting for the favorite football or soccer team, or just enjoying the family contacts. By the way, what about preparing for the Christmas? And do you remember about the Black Friday tomorrow? Get, set and ready for the best shopping raid. Hope you didn’t forget to vote for your chosen Ukrainian lady on Step2Love in Thanksgiving cook contest! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
