Just tell her in advance when your plans change so that she can have enough time to correct her schedule and not to be angry at you.

During common everyday talks, a man tends to describe events in general while a woman wants to hear more details. If you write her a letter, make it longer or divide in two parts. She will appreciate your will to share each minute of your life with her.

Finally, women are used to talking with hints. They always use them because they want their man to do something particular himself but don’t want this look like their direct asking.
