Near the city of Rovno in Ukraine there is one of really romantic places created both by nature and technology – the Tunnel of love. It is located near the village Klevan’ and was created occasionally. There were railways leading to military base, and once the trees were planted to the way to it. As trains kept on going through these trees, an arch formed and now it attracts lots of tourists.

It is said that if a loving couple comes to this place, there wishes will surely come true. Because of this, people tend to come here and make lots of beautiful photos. So, if you dream of spending romantic day with your beloved woman, there is no such wonderful place as Tunnel of Love.

This tunnel is even known around the world. It used to appear in several advertisements, and even Japanese director Akiyoshi Imazaki has filmed a dramatic and romantic movie about it.

There is a legend living in the village near the Tunnel. Locals say that there once was a young couple. A girl was from a rich family, and a guy, unfortunately, couldn’t offer her anything but his true and pure love. And, of course, girl’s father was against these relations. They had often been going to this Tunnel of Love, where no one could disturb them, hiding from her father, and once they made a wish – to be always together and never leave each other. And the wish came true.

Once, a girl was going up the street in the evening, and was attacked by several men. Luckily, her beloved man was passing by, and heard that she was in trouble. He managed to rescue her himself, and her father really appreciated this deed. So, he agreed on their marriage, and after this they lived in love together.
