How not to Get Ill in Autumn

Now not to Get Ill in Autumn

As soon as summer is over and cold times come, people tend to get ill. Even the slightest blow of wind may lead to sore throat, temperature and runny nose. This is absolutely not pleasant, as there are so many things to do, and you probably will have to still go to university or work. However, the simplest way will be not treating yourself with various pills but to prevent illness at all.

The best vitamin which will secure you is vitamin C. there are lots of different tasty and not too much fruits and vegetables containing this vitamin. The most widespread and available are apples. Don’t forget about about the saying “An apple a day keeps a doctor away”! You can also make juices from mixtures of fruits and vegetables. For example, carrot+spinach+lemon+beetroot will not only boost your immune system but also reduce stress and give you energy.

The next way to be more healthy is exercises. Scientists made a research and pointed out that those people who tend to do at least morning exercises and walk by foot get ill by 40% less than those who avoid physical activity.

Take care of your hygiene. Viruses tend to stay on our hands, so lack of hand washing may cause flu and other diseases. For appropriate washing, you should put soap on wet hands and lather them for at least 20 seconds, and don’t forget to wash thoroughly between fingers.

When you don’t have enough sleep, your organism also becomes really weak and open for diseases, as it doesn’t have enough powers to resist viruses, especially during cold times with lack of sun and vitamins. The amount of white blood cells reduces and this lowers the level of immunity. For better sleep, learn how to relax before going to bed. Warm bath or calm music will help you, while it is better to avoid watching TV or staying at computer till late night.

And final way to keep healthy is being with somebody whom you love. All those exercises can be replaced with good and sweet sex, as it burns calories and reveals lots of useful hormones into organism. Kisses are also great, as you exchange bacterias contained in saliva, and receive additional protection from viruses from your loving person. Even a simple hug can make you happier and thus healthier.
