Of course, nobody says that Internet is bad thing. But the problem is in the controlling of time which you spend near screen. Many people can not control how long they surf the Internet.

To get rid of this habit, you need block some sits, visiting of which is usually an afterthought and pointless. Try to count how much time you spend near computer and try to decrease this time every day.

Do not allow yourself to take more money if you know that you will go the place where you can waste them to your bad habit. It is better to try to invent alternative business for yourself.

Of course it is a lot of ways to fight with your habits , but they must be chosen depending on what is bothering you. Habits are very different, that’s why the approach should be unique.
