Nice holiday is coming… and I smile remembering my first real congratulations for my mom on Women’s day.
I was thinking how to make a surprise for her and where I could get money for present and flowers.
And I got an idea)
I decided to sell my pictures. But all my works were small and not for sale.
So I decided to use my skills and paint a new big picture. I was painting it secretly and only late in the evening.
When I ended my painting I asked my friends-artists to help to sell it. They had something like street exhibition. And I was lucky. One woman bought my picture and I got a chance to make a surprise for my loving Mom.
The day before the 8th of March I bought a huge bouquet of beautiful tulips.
But I had another problem. Where could I hide it??
So I took a vase from parent’s room and I was hoping they would not notice it =)
I decided to put the vase with the flowers to my wardrobe for some time.
And in the evening I put them out to let the flowers get some fresh air near the window. I also changed the water to make their life longer.
The next morning, I woke up very early! I wanted to decorate our kitchen with colorful stripes, air balls and I had to set the table for the breakfast. And of course I put the vase with the tulips on the table. I was trying to be very quiet but my parents heard my little noise and they woke up.
But fortunately I ended my decoration in time and started to make coffee for them.
When my mom saw the kitchen she could not stop smiling! She was speechless)) She did not expect it! She was impressed and delighted!! I was so glad to make her happy! I believe that it’s very important to pay attention to this holiday and bring some joy and happiness for our loving people.

hello everyone! I’d like to tell you how I congratulate my dearest and loveliest women in the world – they are my mother and sister. When I and my sister Natali were small, all our presents were handmade. Also we saved money for flowers (we saved up money which parents gave us for lunches at school). The morning on the 8th March started when we dropped into parents’ bedroom and “showered” mom with our kisses))) We presented her flowers and postcards. Sometimes we even managed to cook a pie) It was a perfect time!
Now we are adults and mom doesn’t live with us. However we try surprise her even in distance. Many people say that it’s impossible to surprise a person being far away from him or her, I think it is only excuse and laziness. Everything is possible if you WANT!
We call to flower delivery in advance, also we order unforgettable day for her in SPA. Mom’s smile is worth it! We make ALL things just to see her happy and smiling face)
And with my sister we have an agreement))) We present each other good qualitative cosmetics) I would never buy that for myself, but for sister – with great pleasure!
I think we live for making our close people happy, to bring joy into their life! And especially on such holidays as 8th March every woman, every daughter, every mother, grandmother, every sister needs a drop of happiness even more than usually! I am sure you also have women in your life who matter for you more than any treasure, so draw smiles on their faces as often as you can !
The 8th of March has always been a very important in my family!)) Of course, there is 4 woman from 5 members of the family)) always for our family was and still is a great holiday!) I always prepared long ago before the holiday and maked gifts to my mumm y and granny maked with my hands) i think for them handmade gifts are the best! i put into them all my love to the most important ladies in my life)) i am a good painter so when i was little girl i maked pictures for them) Now i prefer to give something that will help them to feel true woman) Parfums or visiting spa for example)
On the 8th of March people in our country celebrate International Women’s Day. It’s a great tradition to thank the women we love for beauty and care they give us. We greet our moms and grannies, our sisters and friends, our lovers, teachers and colleges.
All the women are always beautiful but on such a day they are absolutely charming like the flowers. Perhaps, that’s why the best present for the 8th of March is a bunch of spring flowers.
We always celebrate the 8th of March in our family. Our tradition for this holiday is that all the housework is done by men. Me, my mother and grandmother are not allowed to help in any way.
My uncle and younger brother get up early and cook celebration meals, decorate the flat with flowers and make coffee while women are restricted to come in. Then we sit down at the table to have breakfast. After that it’s time for giving presents.
If the weather is fine we may go for a walk to the park. In the evening we receive guests. Our friends come to talk and have some fun together.
The 8 of March is special day for me and my mom, I want to fill it with love and tenderness and to make she happy!). I am always with trepidation relate to the selection of gifts for my mom. Because I want to show her how much I love her and how she is important in my life! For me, my mom phenomenon better and most loyal friend and good company! She always do everything for my happy life, not enough sleep at night, sometimes infringed upon her desires for the sake of my own. I appreciate that and want to do something special this holiday for mom! In the first days of spring wants to blossom like a tulip bud, blossom and smell in the soul
This year, I want to give her a ticket on a hike in the spa salon! I want her to feel like a real beautiful woman. We’ll go there together. Life circling us and we have so little time together. By this it will be a nice opportunity to talk heart to heart, to tell her thank you for everything! A woman is always nice to beautiful. And my mom is the most beautiful woman for me! I am proud of she)
This day is associated to me with tenderness,love and a fresh start,no wonder as it’s the beginning of spring) I remember myself being a funny little girl with two braids! I used to wake up very early that morning so that I could cook something special for my mom:) I was to small,so you realise that my dishes were far from perfection:) anyway,I couldnt wait any more,so I rushed to my mom’s bedroom,slapping my bare feet on the floor and proudly holding a tray with breakfast for my mother! There also was a tiny bunch of snowdrops in the middle of the tray,as I know they are my mom’s favourite flowers) and then I woke her up with my impatient whisper: Mommy,mommy,are you sleeping?:)) and she ate burnt toasts and oversalted scrambled eggs saying they were yummy)) and I’m sure she wasn’t pretending!) Years have passed,I’m not that little girl any more.but one thing remains unchanged: no matter where I am,I always come to my mom on March,8 with a bunch of snowdrops:)
The 8 of March is one of the biggest holidays for me! It mean the come of Spring,
the blowing of the Wind of Changes!
And I think that this is the day when all women must be covered with flowers! I remember, when I was 12 my dad make my mother
the best holiday! From the early morning and till the late evening she get a flowers, each time a different bouquet… She was so happy! She sparkle and I this.
I hope the one day I will have a man that will feel me so close, and know how to make me happy… In this day I want to be happy, like each woman in the world
Spring! My favourite holiday approaches. It is the 8th of March and it is a day when all men greet their lovers, wifes, daughters, mothers and all surrounding ladies’ in their collective, they give gifts and flowers, sweets, attention, tenderness and love! This day is the International Women’s Day!
At This day any woman don’t do homework, they have just a rest…Mens do everything. Of course in my family we celebrate this day too. My father and my brother try to surprise me and my mother, to please us. Since early morning they go to buy flowers, make a breakfast for us..
After breakfast we go for a walk, we go shopping, and my father and brother, make gifts, we can sit in cafe also, and we can just walk in the park if it is a good sunny weather.Then I and my mother are waited surprise – it is maybe a festive dinner, fill up with compliments and love. We can go on a visit, or our friends can come to us to talk and spend evening.
All women look forward this day as I and my family!
