6 Myth about Men and Women

Sometimes we used to think that men and women are totally different. Is it really a truth?
Maybe some researches will bring us a new point of view on stereotypes about men and women. Today we want to consider closer some myth that exist in our world. We hope that this knowledge will help you in your development of relations with our ladies.

The brain of men and women is different
If we had deeply rooted differences in behavior and biology, they would be reflected on the brain.
Our brains are more or less the same. Men have a little bigger brain than women, and the brain of women stops growing earlier than mens’ one. However, with regard to a healthy brain, the size does not matter. There are small differences in a small part of the brain called the direct gyrus, but we still need data on its significance, apart from these minor aspects there are no persistent differences between the male and female brains.
The way we use it is another matter.
6 Myth about Men and Women
We have different hormones
Many believe that men and women have different hormones: testosterone is in men, estrogen is in women. In fact, hormones in men and women are the same, and there are no male or female hormones.
Both men and women receive testosterone intake when they engage in combat or participate in an exciting sports game. And in men and women, a spike of oxytocin and prolactin occurs when they take on hands a newborn baby.
Differences are in the level and impact of these hormones on the body of women and men, but individual differences sometimes play even greater role than differences between the sexes.

Men are more aggressive than women
It all depends on what we consider aggression. Men and women do not differ in the expression of anger and general aggression, but men often use physical aggression.
Both sexes are more or less similar in the expression of aggression towards each other, just men are usually larger and stronger. Men are no more aggressive by nature than women, but more effective in using physical aggression.
6 Myth about Men and Women
Women are good parents by nature, but men are not
Unlike men, women give birth and breast-feed. However, in the representatives of the so-called strong and weak sexes is the same hormonal reaction to infants. Kids look helpless and needy, and we know that the child needs to be raised.
The human body and mind are capable of parenthood regardless of sex, and our success as a species is due precisely to the fact that both men and women helped to grow the next generation.
Because of that sex does not mean that someone automatically becomes a good parent.

Men need intimacy more than women
This is the conclusion to which most people come. However, when the researchers decided to find out what was really going on, they found that both men and women had the same amount of intimacy throughout their lives.
But there are differences in sexual interest. For example, married women claim less interest in intimacy with husbands over time, and young men are more likely to enjoy by themselves and are interested in visual imagination with it. But is this a biological difference?
Of course, much remains to be learned about sexuality, however, as in other cases, the differences are stronger between individuals, not sexes.
6 Myth about Men and Women
Women need relationships more than men
The orgamism of both sexes is equally responsible for creating a couple, affection and desire. But polls show that men want more partners over a lifetime than women. However, if we look not at the average responses of men and women, but on the median value (the actual average of a series of answers), both men and women are very similar. Just men claim a very large number, compared with women, and therefore the average number is greater.
In fact, both sexes want to be with each other in different sexual and emotional relationships. Again, individual differences are more important than sex one.
